Existing Ride not Displaying

I WAS able to join a ride through the "join ride" screen last week. Yesterday, and today I am unable to join ongoing rides through the "join ride" screen. The ongoing ride did not display.

    Yesterday I was able to connect normally to one ride through the "Join Ride" screen, but after exitting that ride, I could not connect through that screen to a subsequent ride. Bur WAS able to go through the ride settings screen to connect to the second ride. The whole Join Ride thing seems a bit flakey.
