HRM Monitor Not Connecting Between Worlds and Connect apps

I have been using a CooSpo armband HRM for several years with my older monitor, and it has worked fine with the new monitor that supports FitOS, and I used it from December 19th to the 23rd. On December 19th, I did my first Worlds ride and when I moved from Worlds to Connect to do a class, the HRM worked perfectly. The next time I did a Worlds ride was the 23rd, and when I switched to Connect, the HRM would not work. I switched to Blueheart and that worked perfectly.

I have continued to try to use my HRM in Connect, but it has never worked again. Today (January 5th) was the first time I had a chance to do some testing, and while the HRM would not work in Connect, it worked fine in Worlds, so the tablet does see the device. I then unbound the HRM from Worlds and tried again in Connect and the HRM was able to be seen and successfully connected. This confused me as my bike is shutdown after it is used, so why would Worlds be hanging onto the HRM connection when it is not being used?

The various app versions are as follows:

  • FitOS - 1.26.23

  • Echelon Connect - 2.5.6.1-mounted 147

  • Tablet firmware - MTB-818 C002B002-2020621

  • Echelon Worlds - v1.1.89
